Fiesta Time!

TGIF! Today I'm sharing one of my favorite themed parties....Mexican! Even though I have Mexican food almost everyday somehow throwing a party celebrating all things Mexican just makes it that much better. My family usually gets together and we have a huge pot luck however this time we decided to give all the mommas and grandmas a break and we got catering from a taco shop. The tacos were amazing!! We did set up our own beverage station with aquas frescas and of coarse margaritas. UnfortunatelyI forgot to take pictures of the huge margarita set up we had but let me tell you they were sooo good. As for the cake, I make pretty much every cake for our parties and this one was a favorite for sure I love love love baking and designing cakes especially ones that I haven't done yet. I saw so many ideas on Pinterest but I don't really like to work with fondant so I decided on this simple festive design and I was more than satisfied. My family and I all had an amazing time eating, dancing and spending time together drinking margaritas!
